Christopher Bell was admired as a fine artist and cherished as a wonderful person on the Monterey Peninsula since the early 1980's. His tragic death in 1998 left a void in the art community at large and many individual hearts as well. Two monumental sculptures by the artist, "Life at the Top" in Monterey and "Butterfly Kids" in Pacific Grove are very well known. His religious sculptures are some of the most inspiring. Christophers' work has been acquired by many people around the world. The Christopher Bell Gallery in Monterey continues to showcase his inspiring art along with other outstanding artists, many who knew and loved Christopher themselves.
