Greg Wooten, a San Francisco glass
artist, shapes each box to the peculiarities
of the hand-selected minerals. The glass (ranging
through various types of colored glass) is foiled
and built around a mirror base that evenly supports
the lid. A fully opening hinge and fine suede
bottom (not shown) complete the design. The results
ensure an enduring and endearing treasure box
like no other seen before.
